The show's animation was intriguing, as it had been a blend of CGI LightWave cartoon (cars/some buildings/panning wallpapers ), and conventional hand-drawn animation/backgrounds - drawn in pen and ink on cartoon paper, then scanned into a computer and coloured using Wacom tablets on ToonBoom Harmony. The show's cartoon was created at Film Roman. Dave Marshall, a former cartoon manager for Animaniacs, was the show manager. William Reiss and C.H. Greenblatt, two SpongeBob SquarePants specialists, worked on the series since storyboard artists. The two Fish Hooks and Chowder will eventually become a Lot More successful and rewarding than Free For All.
